NFT Ownership & Commercial Rights

1. Ownership

When you purchase a Hungry Wolf Den Club (HWDC) NFT, you own the underlying artwork of that specific Hungry Wolf completely. Ownership of the NFT is mediated entirely by the smart contract and the Base blockchain: at no point may we seize, freeze, or otherwise modify the ownership of any Hungry Wolf.

2. Commercial Usage Rights

Spec-Tak Labs grants each NFT holder an unlimited, worldwide license to use, copy, and display the purchased Hungry Wolf NFT for the purpose of creating derivative works based on the Art (“Commercial Use”). This includes, but is not limited to, producing and selling merchandise, comic books, animations, games, digital content, music, and more.

For example, you could:

  • Create and sell a comic series starring your Hungry Wolf

  • Launch a food brand using your Hungry Wolf as a mascot

  • Use the artwork in music videos, fashion, or nightlife campaigns

You may not, however:

  • Use any HWDC assets in a way that involves hate speech, racism, pornography, or other material that is unlawful or offensive

  • Imply or claim any official affiliation with HWDC beyond ownership of the NFT

  • Use HWDC trademarks, logos, brand names, or the general “Hungry Wolf Den Club” name in a way that implies endorsement without prior written permission

3. Derivative and Collaborative Works

You are encouraged to collaborate with others using your Hungry Wolf NFT. All derivative creations are owned by the creator, but must be based solely on the specific NFT owned. If the NFT is sold, you retain rights to your original derivative works, but the new holder gains commercial rights to the base character.

4. Transfers and Sales

The commercial rights outlined here are only valid for the current owner of the NFT. When you sell your Hungry Wolf, all rights to that specific NFT’s art transfer to the new holder. You may not continue to use the artwork for new commercial projects once you no longer hold the NFT.

5. The HWDC Brand

While holders have full rights to their individual wolf art, Spec-Tak Labs retains ownership of the larger brand, including:

  • The name “Hungry Wolf Den Club”

  • Logos and designs not tied to individual NFTs

  • Website content, lore, game mechanics, and overarching narrative

6. Community Collaboration

HWDC may feature community holders and their projects as part of official lore, campaigns, or partnerships. Participation is always optional and subject to mutual agreement.
